Man reports 'friends' beat and robbed him
A man is seeking robbery charges against two people whom he also told Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office investigators are his friends.
The victim told deputies that on Tuesday at about 5:30 p.m., the two friends called him to come over to their residence in the Cunningham Creek area of the New Territory subdivision, in the 1000 block of Bayhill Drive, says Sheriff's Office spokesperson Bob Haenel.
"Long story short, his two friends commenced to beat him up once he set foot inside the door of the residence, which is where one of his friends lived," Haenel says.
The victim reported that the two other men took his wallet, phone and $80 in cash.
One of the potential suspects is 17, and the other is 23 or 24, Haenel says.
