Joseph McVey (Z-Ro)

For more than a decade, Willowridge High School alum Joseph McVey (Z-Ro) has been one of the Houston area's most prolific rappers.

He started in 1998 with the album "Look What You Did to Me." In 2005, he landed his first charting record with "The Life of Joseph W. McVey." His first Billboard charting single, "These Days," came in 2010.

Although he hasn't achieved the national success of Houston MC's such as Paul Wall, McVey continues to record. He released the album "Meth" last year.
