Operations engineer picks home in Sugar Land
Akinfolami Akintunji acquired a five-bedroom, four-bath home at 14906 Laytham Lane in Sugar Land from Geraldine N. Raphael and Ike E. Raphael on May 30.
The 3,010-square-foot house was built in 1999 in the Kingsbridge Place subdivision. Fort Bend County assesses the home's value at $205,850.
Akintunji has been an operations engineer at Atinum E&P Inc., an independent company engaged in the acquisition, development and production of natural gas and oil properties.
He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Texas-Austin and is currently studying for a master's degree in petroleum engineering at the University of Houston.
Ike Raphael has been the president and CEO of ER Technology and Allied Services LTD. (ERTAS), a computer company. He has also been a general secretary at Mbaitoli-Ikeduru Association.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,856 home sales in Sugar Land during the past 12 months.
